Pride in Club Polo

The French look like they have put us all to shame when it comes to respect, loyalty and decency. If you look through the polo stories pasted up here from USA UK and others they are all about the sponsors being thrust out as winners and grinners without a thought for recognition for all the tireless backroom engineers of the sport. Where are the photos of all the grooms, ponies, honorary committee members, groundsmen all whom work long long hours to put the tournaments together and make the sport possible. The last straw was seeing the Queens Cup sponsored by a property developer and Cowdray Park sign their soul away to a sposor that took over the British OPEN. France seem to have held their sense of dignity and included club men and women at the winners podium instead of sponsors overshadowing our interest in the sport. That is all.Thankyou Aduie
